Overview

These Terms govern use of Compass by Northbound Labs and all related digital products and services. By accessing the platform or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

1. Products & Services Covered

Compass Platform includes the AI marketing assistant, Instagram data integration, analytics dashboard, and all features available through the web application.

Subscriptions include monthly access to the Compass platform and all its features.

Digital Products by Northbound Labs include self-paced materials such as video courses, PDFs, templates, and downloads (e.g., The Content to Customer Playbook, Storytelling & Content Strategy Masterclass).

2. Use of the Platform

Upon subscribing, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Compass for personal or internal business use only.

Prohibited activities:

• Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access
• Reproducing, reselling, or redistributing AI-generated content as a competing product or service
• Using the platform to create a competing AI marketing tool
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI system

3. Payments & Pricing

All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through secure third-party processors (Stripe). You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and maintaining a valid payment method.

4. Subscriptions, Refunds & Cancellations

• Free trial: New users receive a free trial period. No charge is made until the trial ends.
• Subscriptions: Billed monthly. You may cancel anytime from your account settings. No refunds are issued for partially used billing periods.
• Digital products: Courses and programs are eligible for a full refund within 90 days of purchase. Digital downloads are final sale.

5. Instagram Data & Third-Party Integrations

Compass accesses your Instagram data through the official Meta Graph API with your explicit authorization. We use read-only access — we cannot post, delete, or modify content on your Instagram account. You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your settings.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided through Compass, including the AI system, prompt engineering, interface design, and educational frameworks, is owned by Northbound Labs or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Marketing & Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive occasional emails about product updates, educational content, and promotions. You may unsubscribe at any time via links provided in each email.

8. Disclaimer

Compass is a marketing assistance tool. We make no guarantees regarding specific results, outcomes, income, audience growth, lead generation, or business performance. Results depend on your effort, experience, market conditions, and external factors.

9. Limitation of Liability

Northbound Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the platform or its services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto.
